Schools Days

A unique opportunity was presented to us this week as we were invited to share about Japan at a local high school here in Meridian, Mississippi. One of the members of Logos Community Church is a teacher and invited us to come and share in her classroom. Together Meg and I taught the class some basic facts about Japan and the culture thereof. Megumi taught the class some basic Japanese vocabulary and how the language works with the Chinese characters. We were very well received and were asked many questions by the students. I was particularly impressed that many of the questions were about religion in Japan and I think the students were quite surprised to learn how small Christianity is in Japan.  The whole experience was great and it really made me miss teaching.

Please pray that seeds were planted in some of the hearts of these students. The harvest is great in Japan and workers are needed.
